My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The proximity to the city allowed me to enjoy all it had to offer, but the small dining area and lack of renovations were noticeable drawbacks. The service was friendly, although limited by the outdated rooms. The breakfast was good, with a variety of options, but the dining room could use some improvement.

The hotel may not be Hilton standard, but for such a low rate, it's decent. The rooms were from 2 different hotels but in decent condition. I appreciated the multiple pillows on my king-size bed, average-sized TV, and acceptable vanity/bathroom. However, only one outlet in the room worked. The service was friendly and helpful, especially with directions, but make sure to stay in rooms nearest to the DoubleTree for a better experience. The location surrounding the hotel was the only thing I liked about this motel, close enough to the city to enjoy all it has to offer. The dining experience was okay with several breakfast options but wasn't kept fully stocked. Overall, a good value for the money.
